Mateo Villain is a French designer whose work moves across disciplines and materials.
Rooted in nature and shaped by a deep connection to places, his creations range from functional to dysfunctional poetic objects,
each telling its own story.
Guided by a keen awareness of contemporary and future challenges, his practice reflects a thoughtful and evolving dialogue with environmental, social, and industrial issues.
Born in North of France, graduated with distinction from the St-Luc Tournai School of Arts in Belgium with a design Bachelor's degree, followed by a degree in design from the renowned École Nationale supérieure des Arts Décoratifs (ENSAD) in Paris, France.
